Planning a baby shower is easier said than done. The food and menu should be decent, the music should be fun, and your guests should be comfortable in your party area. Even the decorations should be well-thought out. The list does not stop here. Even cake wordings should be taken notice of. Baby shower cake wording is, in fact, one of the most difficult components of baby showers.
Baby shower cake wording is important because this serves as a welcoming message to the baby. This is also one way of congratulating or saying wishes to the expecting parents. It can be your way to make the parents feel special about the new addition to their family. Therefore, it is only right that you carefully pick out the words in your cake.

One tip I can give you is to keep the message simple. Limit it to one-liners as making a poem will take much of the space in the cake. But if you have a large cake, by all means create a beautiful poem that is worth sharing. You can also get your wording from nursery rhymes if you want. Or better yet, be original. You can create your own lines or search for them online. There are too many of them so you won't be having a problem when it comes to this. If you really want to stretch those one-liners to a poem, then go ahead as long as you have ample space to write on in the cake. However, a poem is much difficult so here are just a few tips I can share with you:
• Incorporate the baby's parents, grandparents' and siblings' names in the poem. Don't forget to add in the expected due date as well.
• It's cute if you add in the baby's nickname in the poem. Nicknames such a sweet pea or tiny toes will add fun to the poem. If you know the gender, throw it in too.
• Make a poem that's not to long that it might bore your guests or too short to the point that there's no sense in the poem.
• Write from the heart. The poem always comes out beautifully if you mean what you say and not just blurting out words that rhyme. Write about how special the couple is for you and that you are truly happy about the new chapter in their lives.
Baby shower cake wording could be difficult to think of. It is such a tedious task but it is all worth it for sure. The expecting parents will, without doubt, cherish your words and remember this for the rest of their lives.
